Another week in the life of GURPS

In light of the (Canadian) Thanksgiving holiday, the (Canadian) election, and the new PC, this week's GURPS report isn't very exciting, but here goes:

• We reviewed the rough PDF of Phil Masters' GURPS Thaumatology: Age of Gold setting this week. The layout and art are done. We're just ironing out the little glitches before we release the thing. Looking good!

• Jason Levine's GURPS Dungeon Fantasy: Allies is now in editing. Nikki is working on it even as I write this, and she and I are sorting out what look like the last of the editorial issues.

• I started editing David Pulver's GURPS Mass Combat today. This is a rather tables-and-stats-filled, technical project, so the edit won't be fast. Still, I should be able to get it done in time for the PDF to make its way through layout and into publication by December.

• It's safe to say that there has been recent forward movement on the Vorkosigan Saga Sourcebook and RPG, and it's definitely much closer to "done" than to "vaporware."

• I finished my editorial review of Jason Levine's GURPS Psionic Powers and approved the manuscript for playtesting.

I've written several templates for my current project, and I'm about to go back and complete one more. It looks like I'll have it done by the agreed upon deadline. I've got about two or three short sections to add after the templates are done. . . .

You have several "files" open . . . Is this for UM?

Yes, it is. That's the one I'm currently working on. I've finished and turned in my volume of the other set of e23projects, and I haven't seen any posts from my co-authors about their volumes in a while. In fact, I think I'll drop everyone an e-mail a bit later today. . . .

Age of Gold looks good. I think people will be happy with Phil 's (M) work on the manuscript.
