Interesting biscuits

I'm not normally one for tinned biscuits, as I prefer the sort you make yourself, but these were a gift: Lucifer's Ginger & Chilli Biscuits, from Fortnum & Mason, are rather good. Like chocolate flavored with hot peppers, the juxtaposition of the fiery with the sweet is quite satisfying. That is all.

I just love that combo! My mum gave me some chili chocolate years ago – as much as a gag as anything else, I think – and I've liked it ever since. Chili seems to work in quite a few sweet things.
