Another week in the life of GURPS
To be honest, I've been lame about posting here in recent weeks – my life hasn't been all that exciting of late, unless you count allergies and colds – but there's always GURPS news! This list is rather short because a lot of what I did this week amounted to "answering tons of GURPS questions for writers," which is important but not news per se.
• We released GURPS Spaceships 4: Fighters, Carriers, and Mecha. If you prefer "cool space opera" to "hard science fiction" (I do!), this is a must-have. If you prefer realistic craft that burn a jillion kilos of fuel to go fast in a straight line and a jillion more to stop, you'll still want the rules for SM +4 vessels, new systems, and new weapons.
• A new Transhuman Space supplement left layout and is ready for review next week. With luck, it won't be long before you can own it.
• We fired the starting gun on the GURPS Low-Tech and GURPS Low-Tech Companion 1-3 playtest. The playtesters are reading the files as I type this. We open up the list for comments on May 18.
• In acknowledgement of the fact that GURPS Low-Tech and GURPS Horror will have me very busy until the end of the year, I'm using every spare moment to write Pyramid articles. This week, I wrote one for Pyramid #3/10.
