Another week in the life of GURPS
Please remember that SJ Games will be closed from June 29 to July 3, and that most of its staff and full-time contractors – including me – won't be around from June 27 to July 5 as a result. Here's one last report on GURPS before we all take off:
• We released GURPS Martial Arts: Gladiators, by Volker Bach and Peter Dell'Orto (
peterdellorto). "Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?" I can't speak for Joey, but if you like gladiators, then I'd urge you to check out this item!
• The final draft of David Pulver's GURPS Spaceships 5: Exploration and Colony Spacecraft arrived and is now on its way to the editor.
• We've wound down the GURPS Gun Fu playtest, which hit the 749-post mark. That went very well, even if I am old-school about video games. Now S.A. Fisher, Hans-Christian Vortisch, and I have to revise it.
• The GURPS Low-Tech/GURPS Low-Tech Companion 1-3 playtest is over, too – although we might consult with the playtesters on a few outstanding issues after the SJ Games break. It hit the 6,451-post mark. Yikes!
• We're currently seeking playtesters for GURPS Horror, by Ken Hite (
princeofcairo). Interested? Then check out the call for playtesters.
• I submitted my first draft of GURPS Action 3: Furious Fists. This fills a glaring gap in the GURPS Action series: coverage of martial-arts movies. Mostly those of the worst kind. I think there's even a Showdown in Little Tokyo quote in there.
• I updated the quarterly GURPS News.

I hope you enjoy the time off! I'll save my questions about GURPS Low-Tech till you get back.
