Another week in the life of GURPS

This week is named . . . hm, my taxes are done, so let's say "Laz." The GURPS situation is as follows:

• I reviewed the rough PDF of GURPS Magic: Plant Spells, by Scott Maykrantz. Scott is now crunching over my questions. This shouldn't delay things much, if at all. Hopefully, it'll still make April!

• The rough PDF of Pyramid #3/18: Space Exploration got its review this week, too. It marks the third in our "miniseries" of exploration items, and should also be out this month.

• GURPS Psis, by Jason "PK" Levine ([livejournal.com profile] peekitty), now exists in PDF form and is making its way through the review process. Oh, did I let slip the title? Silly me. I blame mind control.

• More GURPS Low-Tech news: We discussed cover art this week. Which means people are thinking about covers, which means thinking about books, which means . . . well, that this is a step closer to being published (mind, there are hundreds of such steps!).

• David Pulver submitted the final draft of GURPS Spaceships 8: Transhuman Spacecraft, which presents the vessels of Transhuman Space in the language of GURPS Spacehips. It's now in editing.

• The playtest of GURPS Tactical Shooting, by Hans-Christian Vortisch, started today.

• Contracts for a whole raft of GURPS items went out this week. These had been held up while we shuffled staff around. Expect news as projects go from "contracted" to "edited" over the coming months.

• I started a small writing project, for the first time in months!
