Another week in the life of GURPS
This week is named "Sonus," inspired by the volume of loud techno music coming through my wall from next door right now. Fortunately, all of these GURPS books muffle the sound. Speaking of which . . .
• I did the final review of the GURPS Psis PDF, by Jason "PK" Levine (
peekitty). I gave it a green light, so now we're just dickering over the release date. This item will make psi campaigns a lot easier to run!
• GURPS Low-Tech is now officially in layout. Woohoo! That's a big step – a big, big step. It doesn't involve a lick of work by me . . . we have Nikki to thank for this.
• Peter Dell'Orto (
peterdellorto) turned in the final draft of a certain item involving ninjas. It will go into the editorial and production mill shortly. Hopefully the shurikens won't jam up the gears.
• The GURPS Tactical Shooting playtest is now in full swing. According to author Hans-Christian Vortisch and lead playtester Doug Cole, it's very active. That ends May 2, after which the book goes into revisions before returning for editing and production. Hopefully the bullets won't jam up the gears.
• My own little writing project is up to 17,500 words. This is pretty rough still . . . I'm banging away at it as fast as I can. No hints yet, sorry!
