Another week in the life of GURPS

This week is named Felicity. The GURPS update is still mainly about GURPS Horror and GURPS Low-Tech . . .

• GURPS Low-Tech is now at the point where we're talking about the very last piece of art. I have a PDF here that's good enough to use as a reference. Pretty soon, there will be one good enough to publish!

• The preview PDF of Pyramid #3/23: Action Adventures passed muster this week. While Jason ([livejournal.com profile] peekitty) did the bulk of the review, I checked some GURPS Action support. Spiffy!

• The preview PDF of Transhuman Space: Cities on the Edge, by Anders Sandberg and Waldemar Ingdahl, is now in review. This is a 90-pager, and no small thing . . . but we should be talking about the release date next week.

• I am at the 89.6% mark by word count on my edit of GURPS Horror, by Ken Hite ([livejournal.com profile] princeofcairo). I had to slow down a tad to check the rules for horrific madness and soul-destroying corruption. I am now checking monster stats in one of the two sample campaigns.

• The first draft of GURPS Social Engineering, by Bill Stoddard ([livejournal.com profile] whswhs), is now in review. Jason ([livejournal.com profile] peekitty) is doing his checks. I'll do mine after GURPS Horror is finished.

I'm glad to hear that GURPS Social Engineering is in review now. I've been wondering how soon it would reach the head of the queue. I look forward to Jason's comments. It's such a rules-heavy supplement that it will need close attention . . . but I've tried to make the game mechanics consistent throughout.

An abundance of info in so few lines.
Horror, Social Engineeering and 90 pages of Transhuman Space is something to seriously look forward to!

I would certainly encourage you to sign up for the playtest, if we have one. It seems like exactly your sort of project.

Crossing my fingers that you have one! And that I'm not in the middle of Something. O:p

I heartily hope Social Engineering gets a better title.

No, you don't understand, Social Engineering IS the better title.
