Another week in the life of GURPS

This week is named Lucie. It wasn't my most productive week ever, because a flu shot leeched away my energy for the last two days of it. However, stuff did get done, if mostly by others:

• The art for GURPS Low-Tech Companion 1: Philosophers and Kings – by Matt Riggsby (wombattery) and Bill Stoddard (whswhs) – is done. This bodes well for a release in the fairly near future.

• We also saw decent headway made on the art for GURPS Low-Tech Companion 2: Weapons and Warriors, by Peter Dell'Orto (peterdellorto), Dan Howard, and Bill Stoddard (whswhs). We may well see this in 2010, too!

• We made the last few content tweaks needed in GURPS Supporting Cast: Age of Sail Pirate Crew, by Nicholas Lovell. The release of GURPS Low-Tech and impending release of GURPS Low-Tech Companion 2 necessitated revisions to stats for sloops and cannon.

• I'm 25% of the way through my edit of GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Monsters 1, by Peter Dell'Orto (peterdellorto) and y.t. I'm up to D for "dinoman."

• The first two volumes of the new series by Jason "PK" Levine (peekitty) are now in production. I'm not sure that I have any more good clues for you, though . . . Um, hordes? Werewolves? Energy gathering? Meanwhile, Jason is hard at work on the third volume.

• Bill Stoddard (whswhs) and I talked over some more rules considerations for his GURPS Social Engineering. I should be reviewing Bill's revised draft next week.

• Elisabeth and I sorted out the names of those who will be getting comp copies of GURPS Low-Tech, which suggests that there have been no delays at the printer.

• Writers take note: I updated the GURPS items on the e23 Wish List.
