Another week in the life of GURPS
I dub this week "Douglas the Ferret," for reasons Made in China. The latest and greatest on GURPS includes the following:
• We released the much-anticipated GURPS Social Engineering, by Bill Stoddard (
whswhs). My plug for it is here. The short version is that if your adventures feature deceit, diplomacy, flirtation, politics, propaganda, or riots, then you want this one. If they don't . . . get the book and get with it!
• Nikki sent out the rough PDF of GURPS Power-Ups 4, by PK (
peekitty), for review. There will probably be minor modifications, but we may well see this in 2011.
• David Chart submitted his final draft of Transhuman Space: Wings of the Rising Sun.
• Matt Riggsby (
wombattery) turned in his final draft of GURPS Locations: Hellsgate. It might have something to do with demons. Rest assured that It has nothing to do with steam tunnels, though.
• We've posted a call for playtesters for GURPS Martial Arts: Technical Grappling, by Doug Cole (
douglascole). If you know anything at all about grappling, then why not submit an application? Get it – "submit"? (Yeah, it's been that kind of week.)
Lots of other projects moved forward, too . . . but I can't talk about those beyond name-dropping a writer or declaring, "I wrote some words." It suffices to say that there's a whole lot in the GURPS bullpen.
