Farewell to sipping cocktails in the back yard and getting by with just a light sweater . . . the snow is here. Sure, it's wet and won't survive the night, but still: So begins Montréal's five- to six-month winter. Yay, I guess.
Ours is still here, too. It's kind of mushy and pathetic-looking, as the temperature is hovering around 0°C, but it's definitely out there. I've never been to Greece, but I'd be willing to give it a shot.
I'm actually okay with chilly. Truth be told, I like to see my breath in the air when I wake up, and I don't shed heat well . . . I suffer in warm weather. It's falling slush that I could do without. Nothing makes outdoors less fun than a sludgy suspension of ice crystals in muddy road-salt water. It splashes on you, it freezes your feet if you accidentally walk in it (even with warm boots), and it looks like crap.
My AC is still clicking on when set to its warmest temperature, so I am desperately waiting for it to start cooling down. So go ahead and send some of the cool air this way.

Have you thought about convincing the remaining British possessions in the Caribbean to join Canada?

One part of NJ had 14" of snow fall. That's heavy for, uhm, December.
