Another week in the life of GURPS

This week is named Gustavo. The news:

• We released GURPS Zombies: Day One, by y.t. You can read about that here.

• We're working on getting art into that space-related project by Elizabeth McCoy ([livejournal.com profile] archangelbeth).

• The latest GURPS Monster Hunters volume from PK ([livejournal.com profile] peekitty) is now in preliminary layout.

• I am 50% of the way through my edit of the latest GURPS Social Engineering supplement from Bill Stoddard ([livejournal.com profile] whswhs).

• The GURPS Dungeon Fantasy item that Christopher R. Rice and Antoni Ten Monrós have been working on has been revised and is about to go into playtesting.

• I gave the GURPS News its quarterly update.

Wait, what, it gets art? I figured it'd re-use the extant art and get a few pull-quotes. O_o

Not new art . . . sorry if I raised false hopes. But even reuse art requires hours of hunting and resizing and sharpening and approval. Believe it or not, that's often a bigger holdup than getting new art would be. It's just that new art costs a whole lot more.

Heh! Honestly, I'm actually going "whew" because I know what the old art looks like and new art might have me going "...um, that... isn't what I had in mind at all..." I'm actually quite fond of the old art I'm thinking of.
