Another week in the life of GURPS

This week is named Fox. Like last week, I spent almost all of it working on my edit of Christopher Rice's GURPS Realm Management. I'm now well past the 80% mark and looking to be done next week.

Otherwise, I continued to mess with my new PC enough that my week wasn't as productive as it might have been – though this machine is so much faster, and attached to monitors that are so much bigger and easier on the eyes, that my long-term productivity is certain to go way, way up. Yeah yeah yeah patience. How long will that take?

Big monitors are a blessing. My own monitor is the size that used to be considered a small widescreen TV, something like 24", and having that much space to work in makes writing and editing a lot easier, as I can have two documents open side by side. I may go to a wider screen when I replace it, as my new desk will be able to accommodate one.

Having glasses with a prescription suited to the distance between my eyes and a monitor screen is a help, too, though I don't know if that's an issue for you.
