Another week in the life of GURPS

This week is named Ludmila. The news:

• The BackerKit surveys for the GURPS 2021 PDF Challenge went out. Be sure to complete yours by the August 9, 2021 deadline!

• Speaking of which, we added GURPS Boardroom and Curia: The Sospital Group, by y.t., to the titles that GURPS 2021 PDF Challenge backers can add in BackerKit.

• The GURPS Infinite Worlds: Nightreign playtest ended today.

• I posted the call for playtesters for GURPS Vehicles: Biremes and Triremes (by Carolyn Stein & Stephen Kenneth Stein). You have two weeks to apply!

• I started another small writing project.

• I updated the GURPS News for July.

I have sent you (and all the other mods and admins I could think of) messages over the last couple years, as well as emails to the SJG forum email address, to no avail. I've been shadowbanned at SGJ Forums, since I started there a year and half ago. Is there a reason for this?

I'm logged into the forums as an admin and can see everything.

Let's start with your email address: I realize that you got no reply, so perhaps your emails never reached me, but I checked my email archives and spam filter just in case. I didn't find anything that looks like it came from any variation on your email address.

I checked your account status. There's nothing odd there. You have zero infractions and no bans. You're a member of "Registered Users," with access to all public forums. You have private messaging turned on. Everything should work.

Obviously, it doesn't. That looks like a problem between you and the forums, not with the forums per se.

All I can suggest is that I delete your account and you create a new one. Since I'm aware of this and the old account will be deleted for administrative reasons, not disciplinary ones, the new one won't count as a "sock puppet." Of course, your previous account won't have any continuity with the new one; vBulletin is admin-unfriendly, so there's nothing I can do there. If your IP is in a banned domain or matches that of a banned user with a static IP, there's nothing I can do there, either.

Okay, account deleted. I checked the entire admin interface to find anything special linked to your ID (by username, user number, or IP) and nothing popped up, so you should be good to create a new account. Sorry about the lost posts. :(
