Another not-quite-two weeks in the life of GURPS
I was remiss in my reporting while in Austin – no surprise, given the flux and chaos of planning meetings – but now I'm back. Thanks to my travel schedule, I worked 11 days running, so I'm going to take tomorrow off. Thus, this GURPS report comes either a day early or just under a week late, depending on how you look at things. Anyway, here's the latest:
• Another of our free promo items for early 2009 has moved out of editing, through production, and into prepress. Expect it very soon!
• S.A. Fisher and Hans-Christian Vortisch's GURPS Loadouts: Monster Hunters is now one prepress check away from reality, too.
• Our second GURPS Locations volume, GURPS Locations: Metro of Madness, is also just about ready.
• We reviewed the rough PDF of my own GURPS Thaumatology: Magical Styles. It wasn't rough at all . . . it was smooth, thanks to Nikki's hard work. Yes, you can expect that soon as well.
• The final, edited drafts of GURPS Spaceships 3: Warships and Space Pirates and GURPS Spaceships 4: Fighters, Carriers, and Mecha – both by David Pulver – are now in-house.
• I wrote one article and edited two for Pyramid #3/4: Magic on the Battlefield. This is going to be one of the most GURPS-tastic issues yet. Reserve your copy!
• Tons of meetings and report updates were achieved. Yeah, yeah . . . boooooorrrrring. You just wait. It will mean more and better GURPS stuff in coming months.
