Another week in the life of GURPS

This GURPS update will be quick, because I did just a few big things all week:

• We reviewed the PDF of GURPS Psionic Powers, by Jason Levine ([info]peekitty). It's good to go, and in the pipeline awaiting final formalities.

• Nikki finished her initial layout of David Pulver's GURPS Spaceships 3. We'll be reviewing that PDF in a couple of weeks.

• GURPS Martial Arts: Gladiators, by Volker Bach and Peter Dell'Orto ([info]peterdellorto) is now in playtest. I'm answering lots of questions for Peter, and things are lookin' good.

• I'm about halfway through my review of the first draft of GURPS Low-Tech. I'm nitpicking, and there are many stats, so the going is slow. I plan to request a few revisions, but nothing that will hammer the schedule.

And no, my mood isn't "blah" over GURPS. It's "blah" because I have more dental surgery tomorrow. Oh, yay.

I hope the surgery goes easily and the recovery is quick.

1) Here's hoping the surgery is swift and painless and that you heal swiftly from it.

2) As always, profound and effusive thanks for your work and that of your authors.

3) More PDFs? Bring 'em! I have my tax returns set aside for precisely this joyful event.

Don't forget Volker. He did all of the research and historical stuff in Gladiators!

I'll hammer you with more questions soon enough. I don't like to let rules into my books without clearing them with the guy who is going to have to answer questions about them for a living. That just isn't right. :)

Duly noted . . . Tell Volker to get an LJ so I can link him!

Thanks for the good thoughts on the surgery, guys. I'm back, and while my face is the size of a soccer ball, it doesn't hurt. I think all went well. We'll see!
