"I'm bleedin' out, people!"

Not really. But damnit, after nine days of smooth recovery, one of the surgical sites in my mouth opened up and wouldn't stop bleeding. I had to go get it stabilized. I missed a night's sleep, and now I'm back to eating mush . . . and to add insult to injury, I'm feverish and dehydrated.

The moral of this outbreak? If you deal with me personally or professionally, and you run into radio silence, it's because I'm feeling quite ill. I'm sure the blood will be replaced soon. In the interim, I'm going hermit on the world.

Yeah, this crap only ever happens when you have things to do. I'm trying to review Low-Tech, for instance. I am late getting started on my tax return. And so on. The worst flu I ever had was on the day I moved to Montréal and had to unpack in over 30°C heat.
