Another week in the life of GURPS

It's late in the day but I didn't forget! What happened in GURPS this week? All this:

• We uploaded GURPS Psionic Powers, by Jason "PK" Levine ([info]peekitty). If you like psi, then this is the supplement for you! All the flavor, all the crunch . . . and I do mean all the crunch: abilities, Talents, perks, skills, and techniques.

• I handed our stalwart production staff the final, edited draft of my latest GURPS Dungeon Fantasy item. They have a lot on their plate with GURPS Spaceships 3 and 4, so let's give it time – it'll be out when it's out.

• The GURPS Martial Arts: Gladiators playtest ended, and Volker Bach and Peter Dell'Orto ([info]peterdellorto) started work on the final draft for next month. It's shaping up to be a solid item with some interesting new martial-arts crunch.

GURPS Low-Tech is undergoing revisions in preparation for the playtest.  A whole lot of folks are very busy getting this ready. Stay tuned!

• I started my review of GURPS Low-Tech Companion 1: Philosophers and Kings, by Bill Stoddard ([info]whswhs) and Matt Riggsby ([info]wombattery). This is the first of three PDFs that we plan to develop, playtest, and release in conjunction with GURPS Low-Tech.

• David Pulver and I finalized the outline for GURPS Spaceships 8: Transhuman Spacecraft.

• Oh, and I updated the GURPS News!

And we discussed another distribution item. I'll call you on Monday to give you an update.

I've already started revising Companion 3 in accordance with your general stylistic comments from the main book. More with the busy!

I'm going to be making some changes to LTC1 when I get to revising the related chapters of the main book; I want to move astronomical instruments over to LTC1, as we discussed. I won't be making changes in LTC1 for their own sake, but changes for the sake of tightening up the main book will occur. LTC1 looked to be a couple of pages short in wordcount, so I hope there will be room.
