Another week in the life of GURPS
Yes, I'm clocking out earlier than usual this Friday. That's mostly because I worked late the last couple of Fridays. Please forgive the slacking off. We did do a lot of work on GURPS items this week, after all:
• We released Pyramid #3/6: Space Colony Alpha. No, it has nothing to do with a moon base, although it could be adapted to that easily enough. Hm.
• Nikki bounced GURPS Hot Spots: Renaissance Florence to Matt Riggsby (
wombattery) for author feedback. That puts it very close to ready. We'll review it next week, and then it goes in the pipeline for near-future release.
• GURPS Urban Magics, by Bill Stoddard (
whswhs), is almost though playtesting. This means that GURPS Spaceships 5 and 6 will get their turn before the end of the month.
• The revised, playtest-ready drafts of GURPS Low-Tech and GURPS Low-Tech Companion 1-3 are now in. They'll probably go to playtest after GURPS Spaceships 5 and 6.
• I continue to review GURPS Horror, by Ken Hite (
princeofcairo). Yes, I was doing that last week. This stuff is scary-but-crunchy. I can say with certainty that nobody will need to incant the bone-chilling line "I want the point costs for Allies and Alternate Forms!"
