Yup, just found your journal and I thought I'd start leaving a trail of Socialsim on it... Mind you, transposed to a Canadian perpective, I'm probably a dirty right-winger!

Then I guess that would make me a filthy capitalist here at home, since I'm pretty far north of "socialist" even by U.S. standards.

What I don't get is calling me an "economic liberal" when I'm at the bottom of the graph, clearly in the socialist, command-economy sphere. A Soviet is me!

So the axis is not liberal<->socialist but liberal<->libertarian? That leaves no option being more collectivist than "liberal" - scary!

I guess using normal economic terminology, Republicans would have to deal with being called "economic liberals" and, what, their heads would explode?
