Another week in the life of GURPS
This week is named "Mr. Pineapple Head." I will not explain this. As for GURPS:
• We released GURPS Psionic Campaigns, by Jason "PK" Levine (
peekitty). Psi is fun . . . and often a huge pain in the neck for the GM. This supplement takes a good crack at solving the many problems that psi presents. In my opinion, it succeeds. But why not see for yourself?
• We also released a free item: GURPS Alphabet Arcane: Lost Serifs, by Stefan Jones. Why yes, this is unabashed advertising for Stefan's GURPS Alphabet Arcane. That doesn't make Stefan's nifty ideas any less cool, though.
• I finished my edit and review of the third psi-related item from PK (
peekitty). I still can't name it, but I can confirm that it's closely related to GURPS Psionic Powers and GURPS Psionic Campaigns.
• I'm reviewing the rough PDF of GURPS Magic: Plant Spells, by Scott Maykrantz. This is my first look at it, so Scott will get a few questions . . . but that shouldn't prevent an April release. Then tree-hugging wizards everywhere will be able to choke their enemies to death with moss or slice them apart with real blades of grass.
• We posted our call for playtesters for GURPS Tactical Shooting, by Hans-Christian Vortisch. If you like super-detailed, super-realistic shooting . . . well, you've already applied, right?
• I reviewed the first draft of yet another PK (
peekitty) item. This, too, is a secret. All I can say is that it's related to GURPS Powers but not to GURPS Psionic Powers. No, this one deals with bigger stuff.

new PK Item
" I reviewed the first draft of yet another PK ([info]peekitty) item. This, too, is a secret. All I can say is that it's related to GURPS Powers but not to GURPS Psionic Powers. No, this one deals with bigger stuff."
All I can say is that if it is anyway related to one of these items
* Powers: Chi (a variety of martial-arts themed powers)
* Powers: Classical Elements (powers of air, earth, fire, and water)
* Powers: Fantasy Pantheon (separate but related priestly powers for servants of the god/goddess of love, luck, the moon, sea, sun, war, etc.)
* Powers: Good and Evil (extensive powers of good and evil, carefully balanced, for use in settings defined by a bipartite morality)
* Powers: Shamanism (a single shamanic power with a structured set of spirit abilities corresponding to totems, ancestral spirits, etc.)
then I am going be very excited.
