Another week in the life of GURPS
This week is "Mira" (see current song, above). In other news:
• We released GURPS Psis, by Jason "PK" Levine (
peekitty). This is a very keen item . . . not only are the templates for psionic heroes useful, but there's a handy system for selecting psi abilities in there. I hope to see similar ease-of-use supplements in the future! Yes, that's a hint to writers.
• GURPS City Stats, by Bill Stoddard (
whswhs), passed its production review. Look for it in late May or early June. Once it's out, I hope we'll see some PDFs that present cities that use the system. That's a hint to writers, too.
• We continue to make progress on GURPS Low-Tech. It's now at the art-specs stage. Outside of the vignettes (to better match the art) and of course the index, the text is extremely unlikely to change at this point.
• The GURPS Tactical Shooting playtest ended and now Hans-Christian Vortisch is working like mad on the final draft. I hear from Hans and from lead playtester Doug Cole that the playtest went well and did a lot of good.
• Secret projects by Roger Burton West, Peter Dell'Orto (
peterdellorto), Jason "PK" Levine (
peekitty), Phil Masters, and Bill Stoddard (
whswhs) all made significant headway this week.
• I updated the GURPS News.
• I updated the e23 Wish List, too.
• I somehow managed to chuck another 8,000-ish words at my own writing project this week, bringing it to about 25,500 words.

By coincidence (really; that's not code for "this has been planned all along" or "I got the idea when I read this"), I've been considering pitching some urban stuff when I'm done with my current projects...
