Another week in the life of GURPS

This week is named Reg. The GURPS news is as follows:

• The review PDF of Pyramid #3/22 made the rounds this week. This one comes bearing setting-specific support for GURPS Banestorm.

• Progress on GURPS Low-Tech continues! Phil ([livejournal.com profile] philreed) and I have been on the phone, the writers have been getting back to us on art, and the artists have been getting back to us with art. I've seen the latest PDF (thanks, Nikki!), and it's looking great. Soon, my friends, soon . . .

• PK ([livejournal.com profile] peekitty) reports that his edit of GURPS Tactical Shooting, by Hans-Christian Vortisch, is now at the 79% mark by word count. He says that there are lots of guns in there. But these are special, tactical guns! (Or, more likely, overflow from GURPS High-Tech.)

• My edit of GURPS Horror, by Ken Hite ([livejournal.com profile] princeofcairo), is at the 47.5% mark by word count. Another week of so-so progress, once again attributable to me being distracted by GURPS Low-Tech and having to check many templates. These ones were for ghosts and degenerate cannibals.

• GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 13: Monsters 1, by Peter Dell'Orto ([livejournal.com profile] peterdellorto) and y.t., is now being reviewed by our peers . . . chiefly other GURPS Dungeon Fantasy writers. Just keep thinking about the electric jelly.

Dungeon Fantasy 13: Monsters 1

Sounds like a decisive win for Dungeon Fantasy over the Monsters.

My name is Peter and I just can't stop thinking about the electric jelly.

Sounds like a band: Peter Dellorto and the Electric Jelly!

And now all I can think of is the Electric Six video for "Danger! High Voltage" (caution, disco music).
