. . . included:

• sorting 16 years of work samples into "need" and "eBay" piles to make shelf space (yes, something vaguely productive!)
• getting out to Granby Zoo for my annual dose of tigers and aqua-park shenanigans
• doing some more non-work-related writing
• considerably more slacking off
 

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't take more time off, given half a chance, but I'll be going back to work with a considerably higher SAN score.

There must be some cosmic force at work. I've spent two or three hours today getting a lot of fiction back on the shelves, identifying duplicates and putting them in a recycling pile, pulling out books I never expect to reread so that chorale can decide if she wants them on her shelves, and getting some more books actually shelved instead of piled on other books. Between that and turning our vinyl into AAC files, we may eventually have room enough to swing a cat. Not that our cats would actually approve of such a project. . . .
