I'm back from getting my flu shot. Remember, kids: Flu is no fun . . . and even if you don't care, it's uncool to spread it around, especially to family, friends, and coworkers who suffer from respiratory conditions. Constant, close-range, intensive exposure to the virus erases the good done by others' vaccinations. For instance, Bonnie has asthma, and even if she got the shot, I would be able to infect her if I sat around home with the flu – and then she'd get to spend time on a ventilator in the hospital. So do the right thing and take a moment out to get stabbed. It's worth it (and in most places, it's also free and your boss has to give you time off to go do it).

It definitely seemed like she injected it too fast. It hurt so much I couldn't stretch my arm too much nor could I lie on my left side in bed (which is always how I sleep!)

I think that she was rushed to get everyone in my office done and over with so that she could move on to her next gig.
