So, what went on in GURPS this week?

• We released Pyramid #3/11: Cinematic Locations. This is a fine item, full of dramatic backdrops and useful maps. You certainly don't need to be a GURPS fan to find it useful . . . it's fairly stats-light.

• The rough PDF of GURPS Thaumatology: Alchemical Baroque, by Phil Masters, got its review, which means that it's now on schedule for release in the very near future indeed.

• The stalwart Nikki finished the rough PDF of GURPS Spaceships 5: Exploration and Colony Spacecraft, by David Pulver. We should be reviewing it next week, which bodes well for a release date significantly before we're settling alien worlds in reality.

• The GURPS Low-Tech edit ticks along. I'm at the 31% mark by page count; [info]whswhs was right about progress slowing as I hit more crunch. On the other hand, I've yet to run into any hitch that couldn't be solved in a brief e-mail exchange with authors Peter Dell'Orto ([info]peterdellorto), Dan Howard, Matt Riggsby ([info]wombattery), and Bill Stoddard ([info]whswhs).

GURPS Dungeon Fantasy: Treasure Tables, by Matt Riggsby ([info]wombattery), is almost through peer review, while GURPS Dungeon Fantasy: Summoners, by Phil Masters, just started. Peer review is like "playtest lite," and ensures that short items for established series by trusted writers are ready for prime time.
