This week is named Humphry, for obscure reasons. GURPS happenings included:

• We released GURPS Fantasy-Tech 1: The Edge of Reality, by Matt Riggsby ([livejournal.com profile] wombattery). Steam cat! Ancient batteries! Steam cat! Flying chariots that shoot heat rays! And steam cat!

• The preview PDF of GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 12: Ninja, by Peter Dell'Orto ([livejournal.com profile] peterdellorto), is making the rounds. Stealthily, of course. This is about fantasy ninjas with superhuman powers and impossible gadgets (similar to the legendary katana in the book above . . .).

• The preview PDF of GURPS Low-Tech just went out to the writers. It's still waiting on art, but we're doing everything in our power to get the text perfect so that this can go to the printer as soon as the art is in.

• Jason ([livejournal.com profile] peekitty) is at 68% by word count on his edit of GURPS Tactical Shooting, by Hans-Christian Vortisch. He says that he's checking guns right now, so I'm not going to tick him off this week. Just sayin' . . .

• I'm at just 34.4% by word count on my edit of GURPS Horror, by Ken Hite ([livejournal.com profile] princeofcairo). Not a big jump from last week, but all the monster stats are . . . intense. On the other hand, gamers who like point values for their monsters will love this book.

• The first draft of yet another GURPS Dungeon Fantasy item, this one by Matt Riggsby ([livejournal.com profile] wombattery), entered peer review.

• David Pulver and I spent a lot of time discussing GURPS Vehicle Design stuff this week. Yes, it's making progress.
