This week is named Aurore. This week's GURPS is as follows:
• We released GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 11: Power-Ups, by y.t. You shouldn't buy this because I wrote it. You should buy this because it'll make your PC cooler than all the other PCs . . . until their players get it, anyway. Also, it has Combat Haberdashery.
• David Pulver and I just vetted an errata-corrected update of GURPS Mass Combat. Notable changes include fixes to the way air units and support units work. That should be posted for download shortly.
• We continue to pass around the review PDF of GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 12: Ninja, by Peter Dell'Orto (peterdellorto). At this stage, we're tweaking minor, last-minute items. I could tell you what they are, but then the man under your chair would have to impale you.
• We're working hard to get art into GURPS Low-Tech. The authors – Peter Dell'Orto (peterdellorto), Dan Howard, Matt Riggsby (
wombattery), and Bill Stoddard (
whswhs) – are reviewing art in real time, and will be doing so over the weekend. You can thank Phil Reed (
philreed) and his stalwart artists for this leap forward.
• PK (peekitty) is at 72% by word count on his edit of GURPS Tactical Shooting, by Hans-Christian Vortisch. I've ordered my balaclava and red-dot sight already.
• My edit of GURPS Horror, by Ken Hite (princeofcairo), is at the 40.7% mark by word count. Yes, I'm slow. Monster templates are slow going . . . and I had to give GURPS Low-Tech a lot of my time this week.
