This week is named Ginger, describing a cat and a surprisingly tasty beer. As for the GURPS update . . .

GURPS Low-Tech continues to tick forward. The last few items of note were "all the art contracts are in," "we're working on the title page," and "the final text checks are done." As those in the know can attest, this means that things are pretty darn far along in The Process.

GURPS Magic: Plant Spells, by Scott Maykrantz, dropped off the radar a while back. For those still itching to strangle enemies with vines and give people spore lung, I'm pleased to report that PK ([livejournal.com profile] peekitty) had time to make the needed rules fixes this week, and that Nikki turned around a preview PDF.

• Speaking of preview PDFs, we also have one for Transhuman Space: Cities on the Edge, by Anders Sandberg and Waldemar Ingdahl. Yes, this is all-new Transhuman Space content for GURPS Fourth Edition.

• I'm at the 72.5% mark by word count on my edit of GURPS Horror, by Ken Hite ([livejournal.com profile] princeofcairo). Stalwarts following this project will notice that this is a huge leap forward compared to previous weeks. Unsurprising . . . I'm into the bits on how to run horror games, where Ken needs no help from me that isn't to do with arcane GURPS formatting.

• The first draft of the very first GURPS Dungeon Fantasy adventure, by Matt Riggsby ([livejournal.com profile] wombattery), came in this week. That's all I can say, but I think I've said enough.
