This week is named Chi, and here's the scoop on GURPS stuff:
• We released Pyramid #3/32: Fears of Days Past, the first issue to support the new GURPS Horror. My shameless promotion of it is here.
• Speaking of GURPS Horror, by our good pal Ken Hite (princeofcairo) . . . that should go to the printer Real Soon Now. Real Soon Indeed.
• The rough PDF of Transhuman Space: Martial Arts 2100, by Phil Masters (phil_masters), is now in Mr. Masters' hands for review. What's a utopian future society without novel ways to boot people in the head?
• My review of the Longest First Draft Yet continues, and is at the 76% mark, or 300,000-odd words out of 400,000-something.
• The revised first draft of GURPS Locations: Medieval Cathedral, by Michele Armellini, is now in hand.
Next week is the SJ Games break, so there will be no update here on July 1 and probably not much of any kind of news out of SJ Games from tonight until July 5. To compensate for that, here's a quick rundown on the current standings of projects hinted at in the past:
• Printer: GURPS Horror.
• Prepress (final approval step before release): GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 13: Loadouts, GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 14: Psi, GURPS Ultra-Tech: Weapon Tables, and three items I cannot name.
• Production PDF (just need finishing touches): GURPS Monster Hunters 4: Sidekicks and GURPS Psi-Tech.
• Rough PDF (need art and other polish): GURPS Infinite Worlds: Worlds of Horror and Transhuman Space: Martial Arts 2100.
• Layout: GURPS Reign of Steel: Will to Live.
• Editing: GURPS Social Engineering.
• Final Draft: GURPS Low-Tech: Instant Armor and one item I cannot name.
• Playtesting: GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Adventure 1 and GURPS Locations: Hellsgate.
• First Draft: GURPS Locations: Medieval Cathedral, GURPS Vehicle Design, and five items I cannot name.
