This week is brought to you by the letter Ψ and the number 4. The news:
• We released GURPS Psi-Tech, by David Pulver! This is something of a big deal, as it completes the set described on this page. Also, it has disembodied brains and mind-control rays, so I regard ownership as a test of true gamer-dom.
• PK (peekitty) reviewed the production PDF of Pyramid #3/34.
• I reviewed the production PDF of GURPS Reign of Steel: Will to Live, by Roger Burton West. It's really crunch-tastic stuff. Even if you have no use for the setting . . . well, this item ought to answer 80-90% of your questions on robot design in GURPS Fourth Edition.
• PK (peekitty) completed his edit of GURPS Social Engineering, by Bill Stoddard (
whswhs). This is a long work, so expect a longer-than-usual silence before the next update as it goes through layout.
• I completed my edit of GURPS Low-Tech: Instant Armor, by Dan Howard. All the tables were a lot of work – and not just "stuff a spreadsheet could do," because we were tweaking idiosyncratic tech levels and assigning Holdout stats. Which means that soon, you won't have to do that work.
• My latest little writing project is now better than half edited . . . and still a secret.
• PK (peekitty) – who seems to be pacing me here – is all but done his latest little writing project. That's also a secret.
• Don't forget the call for playtesters – or this one, if you prefer – for the new Discworld Roleplaying Game, by Phil Masters (phil_masters)!
