This week is named Imane. The news is all "Sorry, you're not cleared for that!" Not because we're being deliberately cryptic (ahem), but because none of the things that I touched were safely in the realm of the things that I control enough to make promises about.
In personal news, my cellphone up and died. I suppose that's to be expected for a phone going on 8 years old. I don't think that anybody who reads these updates here stays in touch with me by phone . . . but I'm trying to get the word out, so I'm mentioning it everywhere I have a voice.
In yet more personal news, my birthday is coming up and I've set up a Facebook fundraiser for a cause that's dear to me. However you feel about social media in general and Meta in particular, it's the best tool I have for the job. Rather than spam you more, I'll let you click through if you're interested.
