Another week in the life of GURPS

It's Friday? Sheesh. Here's the latest GURPS news:

• Jason Levine and Scott Maykrantz's GURPS Creatures of the Night 4 is uploaded!

• I thoroughly reviewed and stats-checked the first draft of Jason Levine's GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 5: Allies. Truth be told, I spent most of the week on it. I found only minor nitpicks, and recommended to waitingforgo that we fast-track it.

• I reviewed another rough PDF of GURPS Action 2: Exploits, and provided Nikki with some more content to get the pages "just so" . . . so not only were there no cuts, but you'll be getting extra stats for a few items of tech and a couple of foes. Keen.

• That GURPS Martial Arts supplement I hinted at is coming along nicely. I spend an hour on the phone with one of the authors, and some more time in e-mail, and it looks like we've cracked all the rules nuts.

Draconis

This Saturday and Sunday (October 4-5), I will be at Draconis, the local gaming convention here in Montréal. The con starts today -- Friday, October 3 -- but as you can see, it's 11 p.m. and I'm only just finished work, with all that implies for my freedom. In any event, the plan is for lucien_soulban and y.t. to be there as "games industry reps at large," in lieu of formal panels. It sounds innovative, so let's hope it goes well! And if you're a gamer at loose ends in Montréal this weekend, why not check it out, say hi, etc.? I look like that photo up there right now, so just poke me and say "Jello." The event is at Centre St-Pierre, 1212 rue Panet.
