Preparing and testing

'Tis a day of odds and ends:

• Preparing to travel to Austin by confirming and printing my flight itinerary, digging out my passport (w. requisite ugly photo from five years ago), and getting some U.S. green in hand so that I don't starve.
• Organizing my DVD collection, which I meant to sort during my vacation and vowed I would not leave in disarray when I departed for Austin.
• Synching browser favorites, files, applications, and the like between my desktop PC and my ancient laptop that uses a different OS from another age. If you can read this post, then that worked, 'cause I'm writing this on my laptop.
• Updating my work contact info on the iPhone so that I won't be screwed if my flight gets in late or I'm otherwise stranded.

That's all done. To do:

• Cardio, because we went out for (faux-)Szechuan food with E. & D. last night, and I was very bad and ate crispy duck and General Tso's chicken, both of which are . . . fried, to say the least. Now I must pay.
• Maybe get my iPhone to interact with LJ, so that I can post random crap from airport wi-fi. We'll see.

And if this works, we're good! I'll be able to post on the run. (And it's my blog, so tests are allowed.)
